"The YMCA has the power to shape the trajectory of young people’s lives. I have seen firsthand the impact safe spaces, caring mentors, and meaningful opportunities can have in supporting youth grow in confidence and leadership. Serving on the Community Board is one way I help ensure those opportunities continue to thrive."

“I joined the board for 1 reason and 1 reason only. To have the ability to influence the next generation. The YMCA was always a positive and safe outlet for me growing up. It is a privilege and an honor, to be able to help do the same for the community and generations after me.”

Greetings,
I am committed to strengthening communities and ensuring that youth and families have access to opportunities that help them thrive. Serving as a Community Board Member allows me to invest my time, experience, and passion into advancing programs that uplift families, develop leadership, and create lasting impact. Through the Mission Advance committee, I look forward to building meaningful community connections, sharing stories of impact, and supporting efforts that sustain and grow the Y’s work with youth, families, and the broader community.

North Minneapolis helped shape who I am, and serving as a Community Board Member is an opportunity to give back to the community that invested in me. I want to help ensure the next generation knows that great things come out of North Minneapolis. I am committed to using my experience, relationships, and leadership to open doors, create opportunities, and pull forward those who come behind me and everyone I have the privilege of impact.
