Get the information you need for a safe and effective self-guided workout. These offerings are free with Y membership.

Youth Equipment Orientation

  • Focused orientations designed for kids ages seven to 17
  • Meet in a small group with a Personal Trainer for 30 minutes—sign up at Member Services
  • Get an overview of how to use basic equipment and machines in the Fitness Center
  • After orientation, expect to feel more confident and safe during self-guided workouts

Youth Fitness Cards

  • Pick up a pre-planned workout card from Member Services
  • Get an age-appropriate plan that families and kids age seven and up can follow at your own pace—includes exercises from warming up to cooling down
