Womxns BWCA Trip

Never been to the Boundary Waters? New to canoeing and camping? Or are you a seasoned paddler and looking for a reason to get up to the Boundary Waters during peak fall colors? Join us for an all-inclusive, Womxn's 18+ guided Boundary Waters canoe trip experience! This trip is designed for adult womxn to connect with the outdoors, learn new skills, and meet new friends! All experience levels are welcome.

We want you to be involved with every aspect of the trip, including preparation, trail cooking, canoeing, fire building, navigation, etc. Upon arrival, your trip leader will spend the afternoon guiding you through all the steps it takes to prepare for your trip. That night you will sleep in our bunk style cabins at Menogyn. The following morning you will depart for trail, and spend two nights canoeing and tent-camping in the Boundary Waters. When you return to Menogyn on Wednesday afternoon, there will be a sauna, shower, and home cooked banquet waiting for you! You will spend your final night in the Menogyn cabins and depart for home after breakfast on Thursday. All food, lodging, and group camping gear is included. We also have an extensive loaner gear library that we would love to share with you (which includes but is not limited to sleeping bags, sleeping pads, raincoats, hiking boots, warm layers, life jackets, tents, etc.).

Scholarships are available! Learn more here.

For questions, please reach out to Louisa Mullin at Louisa.Mullin@ymcanorth.org. I would love to hear from you!
