CycleHealth aims to change this with fun, challenging and unique activities like the Resilinator race. Buddy pairs race through fun and challenging obstacles to earn capes, medals and prizes. The public is welcome to attend, and concessions will be available.</p> <p>Free basketball clinics for kids ages 4 and up will be held at YMCAs across the Twin Cities. Participants will learn the basic skills of basketball from trained YMCA staff and can register for upcoming classes or leagues. No prior registration is required to attend.</p> <p>YMCA sports provide opportunities for kids of all ages and abilities to build confidence and learn new skills in a welcoming, fun environment. They will attend educational sessions to learn about developing healthy habits, managing arthritis pain, utilizing technology for independent living, navigating Medicare and more. There will be opportunities to get active by engaging in activities like line dancing and mindful movement. Participants will also visit with representatives from dozens of local organizations that offer products and services for healthy and active aging.</p> <p>The 12th annual Gathering will conclude with a luncheon program, including a talent show featuring Y members; presentations of Thrive awards to seniors who have inspired and strengthened their communities through exercise, volunteering and social interaction; as well as entertainment from Minnesota-based musician Clark Adams.</p> <p>The Gathering is sponsored by Summit Orthopedics, SilverSneakers by Tivity Health, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota, Best Buy Assured Living, Matrix Fitness, Medica Foundation, Octane Fitness and the Earl E.
